An independent toyshop in London's Covent Garden Market, Benjamin Pollock's Toyshop was originally established in the 1880s by namesake, Benjamin Pollock who produced toy theatres or the juvenille drama as it was then known for "a penny plain, twopence coloured".
Over 100 years later it continues to sell a wide selection of traditional toys for both children and adult collectors including the toy theatres, specialising in creative, theatrical and educational toys that nurture storytelling.
Countering the threat of intense online competition whilst staying visible is hard for all small niche brands, so Benjamin Pollock's Toyshop is having to reassess its strategy and how it faces the future.
What We Are Doing
We have now been working with the Pollock's team for over a year, developing a new commercial strategy, setting out its brand DNA, evolving new product ranges whilst launching a new website and bringing in a new fulfilment capability. The next year is already full of plans for this much loved British heritage brand.
